What is Peinture?
Peinture is an orchestration platform powered by agentic AI, designed to bridge the gap between business, product, and technical teams. By turning discussions into clearer decisions and concrete deliverables, it helps companies reduce friction and overcome the common product design challenge of shared understanding.
If you are here, something about Peinture has probably caught your attention. This is the first article in a short series where we will explain what Peinture is, why we built it, and how it came to life.
Before going further, let us ask you one question: What is the worst product design problem that every company eventually faces?
We found one answer: communication. Human communication. Because words matter. But their meaning can change depending on who says them, who hears them, and what context they come from.
This is where Peinture begins. The idea behind Peinture is simple: when delays appear, when misunderstandings happen, when teams move in different directions, the root cause is often the same: a lack of shared understanding.
Before anything else, let’s define what Peinture is not: Peinture is not a generic AI assistant platform.
So what is it? Peinture is an orchestration platform powered by agentic AI tools.

It is designed to help teams turn discussions into clearer decisions and concrete deliverables: clarified needs, product decisions, UX/UI directions, functional specifications, or first screens. By doing so, Peinture reduces friction between business, product, design and technical stakeholders, and helps avoid the sentence every product team has heard at least once: “No, that’s not what I meant.”
The goal of Peinture is to help companies move faster, with fewer misunderstandings and less friction between teams. And for this reason, Peinture is being designed to be usable by everyone, regardless of their technical background.
In the next article, we will explain who Peinture is for, and why its value does not depend on technical skills.
